Bhanu Choudhrie, a serial entrepreneur based in London, has always been passionate about the aviation industry. In 2003, as he rose in the ranks of venture capitalism, Bhanu made his first investment in the Air Deccan aviation sector. In the years that he was an investor at Air Deccan, the flight was able to increase the number of times it provided services to 200 flights per day. In 2007, Kingfisher acquired the Indian airline for about $135.57 million. In the same year, C & C group, founded by Bhanu Choudhrie alongside the Prescient Systems & Technologies, launched the Alpha Aviation Group.
C&C Alpha Group has its headquarters in London, and it has branches in several countries such as Asia and the Middle East. The aviation company supports several holdings in real estate, agriculture, healthcare, and Bollywood investments. As an investor in Air Deccan, Bhanu Choudhrie made the sad discovery that adequate pilot training was quite limited in India. Not long after that, the Alpha Aviation Academy, one of the subsidiary groups for Alpha Aviation Academy, made its debut to assist in training pilots. Currently, the Aviation Training Academy is one of the best platforms that help in training the best pilots across the globe.
In terms of revenue, the training company has over $20 million and provides services for customers in Jet Airways, Air Arabia, VietJet Air, Cebu Pacific, and Philippine Airlines. The academy trains some of the best novice pilots and gives regular training to professional pilots. It gives them the best rigorous aviation training, with some of the best training equipment such as flight simulators. According to Chesley Sullenberger, pilots should be able to handle emergencies using flight simulators. He added that the pilots should receive training on improving muscle memory during emergencies, and flight simulators help a great deal.
Bhanu Choudhrie states there is a significant shortage of pilots who have sufficient training to handle emergencies. He adds that the expanding Asian market will need half million-trained pilots by 2034. The Aviation Training Institute has helped train over 300 pilots across 67 countries. They offer a training program known as the Multi-Crew Pilot License Training Programme that trains novice pilots and makes them professional pilots in the end.
