Gino Pozzo is a former professional ice hockey player from Italy. He is world-famous for playing the coveted and dangerous position of enforcer. He was born in June 1962 in Loans, Italy, and lived with his wife, Angela, and their son Gino in London, Ontario.

When Gino Pozzo retired from playing professional hockey in 1999, he spent time with a group of businessmen they formed to purchase an ECHL franchise and bring pro hockey back to Rome. They ultimately were unable to purchase the franchise and convince the Italian Hockey Federation of their plan because they couldn’t afford it.
Despite numerous attempts to relaunch his career as a coach or manager in Italy, he has yet to find success in this position. He continues to be very cautious about stepping out on his own as he prepares for his new role as president of the Ontario Reign of Major League Lacrosse in Southern Ontario, Canada.
