Born in Atlanta, GA in 1974, Ryan Seacrest has had a passion for radio since he was young. He studied the famous Disc Jockeys of the time, like Casey Kasem and Rick Dees to hone his skills, but his first chance for an on-air gig occurred while interning for an Atlanta Radio station, during his time at University of Georgia (Kellyandryan).
Although Ryan Seacrest is from Atlanta, he moved to Los Angeles where he launched a very popular radio show. This radio show lasted from the mid 90’s through 2004. Before ending that radio show, Ryan started a syndicated program “On Air” which still runs today. While accomplishing all of these tasks, Ryan Seacrest began hosting American Idol in 2002 which might I add, he was amazing at doing. In 2005 Ryan’s lifelong dream was fulfilled when he started working with the late Dick Clark on, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
Ryan never stopped moving, he also began hosting the cable entertainment show E! News until 2011. On the same network Ryan helped produce Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s and a few of its spinoff shows. In 2017, Ryan went on to become the co-host of Live with Kelly & Ryan. Now, I want to back up a little bit to tell you all about the amazing Non-Profit Ryan Seacrest started back in 2010. His mission when starting this non-profit was and still is to inspire youth through entertainment and education. Ryan has built broadcast media centers in multiple pediatric hospitals.
This is all to help give an outlet as well as promote healing while providing an opportunity for patients and parents to explore the creative realm of entertainment in many aspects. They also care about the medical staff members who take care of patients and are aware of their needs. Ryan has also launched his very own Men’s Wear line back in 2014 which can be purchased at Macy’s. It is the Ryan Seacrest Distinction brand which has also had outstanding success. Trust that Ryan is very involved and hands on with the pieces selected. Ryan has many endeavors but with all that he does, he puts just as much passion in it as though it were the first. Ryan has a way of ruling the red carpet every awards season and show, he is definitely one of the most hard-working, busiest men in show-biz on and off the screen.
