The results of the 17th International Business Awards are in and the Online Trading Academy won a Bronze Stevie this year. The award was given in the category of Achievement in Product Innovation, recognizing their CliK educational trading platform.
A total of 74 nations and territories threw their hats into the ring in this year’s competition. Participation was open to all types of organizations from around the world, whether they be large or small, public or private, or for-profit or non-profit.
The Online Trading Academy’s CliK platform is the first of its kind, offering a front end experience designed to support each user’s unique learning curve. The judges were impressed with OTA’s platform, saying that it’s “a breath of fresh air” to find a company which focuses on educating their investors instead of just focusing on increasing their brokerage revenues by persuading their clients to place more trades.
Another judge stated that OTA provides a great example of organizations seeking to empower people with education and actionable tools.
The Online Trading Academy also took the Bronze Stevie last year for Technical Innovation of the Year. The competition in 2019 included only companies with up to 1000 employees, but this year’s competition had organizations of all sizes competing.
OTA has also participated in and been recognized in several other recent contests. Online Trading Academy was named finalist in the Edtech Awards, came in 14th place in Franchise Business Review’s Top 50 Franchies, and was named as a Top Workplace honoree in the Orange County Register. Their CEO, Eyal Shahar was also recognized as a top innovator by the Orange County Business Journal.
