Meet Dr. Tim Ioannides, a dermatologist, certified by the American Board of Dermatology and founder of Treasure Coast Dermatology. He studied in Miami University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. During his time as a resident, he performed a couple of cosmetics surgeries that to his patients that were a quick fix to the patients’ needs. He desired to have a more direct impact on his patients’ lives, so he started his practice, the Treasure Coast Dermatology.
Treasure Coast Dermatology started up as a small enterprise in Saint Lucie. Currently, it has expanded to serve regions in India River and Florida. His practice focuses not only on the patients’ medical needs but also the emotional aspect. Dr. Tim Ioannides MD ensures that there is a direct face to face communication with his patients so that the patient feels that he has the doctor’s full attention. Dr. Tim Ioannides’ practice aims at creating awareness and implementing the best that technology has to offer for his patients instead of seeking cosmetic surgery as a solution.
Dr. Tim currently serves as a Voluntary Professor in the Department of Dermatology in his former school. He has been active in various charity events by offering financial aid. He is involved in the research study in the development of a vaccine against skin cancer. His work has led to the great discovery of the formulation and development of a vaccine against skin cancer. This development has led to a dramatic reduction in the number of new cases of skin cancer in Australia and a reduction in the mortality cases associated with skin cancer. He has transformed the ideology of the pathology of skin cancer from being viewed as aggressive cancer to an infectious disease. Dr. Tim Ioannides will forever be remembered as a genius in his field of work due to the impact of his work.
