For more than 75 Years, TAMKO has produced quality residential roofing shingles on American soil. Founded in 1944 in Joplin, Missouri, TAMKO has had a positive impact. Growing throughout the United States and employing thousands of Americans. As a pioneer in roofing technologies, TAMKO Shingles is accustomed to being a leader in its industry. At TAMKO, their products meet and exceed all standards. All MetalWorks shingles are Energy Star certified and Have a Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) Rating. All asphalt shingles are listed with UL Class A Fire & Wind Resistance, constructed to Miami-Dade building code, Florida Building Code, and more technical certifications. 

 

With these products that TAMKO offers, it has been a process of continuous improvement on all fronts. Incorporating LEAN manufacturing processes to minimize waste and maximize productivity, also TAMKO applied Lean Six Sigma practices to reduce the number of defects in the manufacturing process which reduces costs even further. TAMKO owns and operates the majority of the supply of raw materials for its products, giving even more control of bottom-line costs to the customer. With 11 different manufacturing facilities, 4 warehouses, 5 district offices, and their corporate headquarters. 

 

TAMKO is more than able to handle the U.S. market and provide all of its customers with a reliable and quality product. With a variety of colors offered. there is no question that every customer can find a product that suits their tastes and their needs. The other products offered by TAMKO are suited to residential and commercial roofs. These products include various styles of underlayments, coatings, and surface roll roofing for low slope roofs. For commercial use, TAMKO manufactures multifamily underlayments made especially for challenging multifamily projects and breezeway applications. All products conform to federal regulations and have mandated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to document any hazard and precaution that may need to be addressed.
