Kfir Gavrieli with his company has launched a recent campaign “Operation #SewTogether” to provide more facemasks for the medical workers to battle COVID-19. In March, when a doctor, who is the sister of a friend of Kfir Gavrieli told him that her hospital would run out of facemasks in a couple of weeks, he was shocked and decided to find a way to help get the personal protective equipment for the frontline medical workers to battle the pandemic of COVID-19.
The Operation #SewTogether encouraged people to make facemasks as many as they could to help the frontline medical providers who were facing the extreme shortages of personal protective equipment. They brought lots of sewing machines, retrained their team to make facemasks, and turned their facility into a facemask production line. They even offered gift cards for Tieks’ customers to encourage them to be engaged in this cause for life-saving. Visit This Page to learn more.
Only in 24 hours after launching the campaign of Operation #SewTogether, they had reached and been supported by millions of their fans and other people, and together, they had made more than 636,000 facemasks and sent them to the hospitals in need to help the frontline medical workers to battle this pandemic of COVID-19.
