Wengie launched her earliest single, Baby Believe Me, on the 13th of July 2017 in China. It premiered on the music charts in China at position 11 and later climbed up the ranks to number 6. She launched another song referred to as Oh I Do on the 25th of November 2017 on the YouTube channel, Wengie Music Asia. The music video had garnered more than 9,100,000 views by the 29th of November 2017. She released her first English song known as cakes on the 10th of July 2018 on Wengie Music, which is her YouTube channel. Déjà vu was her second English song, which she launched on the 15th of September 2018. As of December 2019, Déjà vu had hit more than 8 million views. Wengie introduced to the public, Ugly Christmas Sweater, which was her earliest Christmas single on the 17th of November 2018.

Lace-Up was her fourth English single, and she released it on the 9th of March 2019. Together with Iñigo Pascual, a singer from the Philippines, Wengie released a song titled Mr. Nice Guy on the 9th of May 2019. David Amber, who is a songwriter as well as music producer, featured on her single dubbed Talk Talk on the 1st of June 2019. On the 18th of October, Wengie launched her first single in the Korean language known as Empire. Minnie, a singer from Thai from K-pop girl team (G)I-dle features in the song. The primary YouTube channel for Wengie was developed on the 9th of September 2010. From that time, she has accumulated more than 14 million fans as well as more than 1.4 billion views by January 2019.
