Sudhir Choudhrie may have impressed people through his long business career, but it becomes even more fascinating when you find out that he did it all with a life-threatening heart condition. He found out that he had heart problems during his childhood, and he knew that there would come a day that he would have no other option than to be the recipient of a heart transplant. This day came about a decade and a half ago for Sudhir Choudhrie and he has managed to live a fulfilling and healthy life ever since that has inspired many people with heart conditions to keep pushing and keep hope for the future. Although nobody wants to have a heart condition, he has shown that you can still be successful and live out your dreams.

The international businessman has stated that he is very grateful to the doctors who saved his life with his heart transplant. Through the Choudhrie Family Foundation, Sudhir Choudhrie has been able to give back to the medical professionals that have helped him so much and the patients who are fighting their own battles with heart conditions. At Columbia University Medical Center, a professorship was formed through a $2.5 million from the foundation. In , a student lounge was also formed in the medical center through their donations. They have also worked to support the patients and their families who are going through having to potentially have to have an organ transplant.

At 67 years old, Sudhir Choudhrie has managed to give back a lot after receiving his new heart, but he continues to do more to support education, research, and other resources. Recently, His foundation has been working to raise awareness of the important role that organ donation has on teenagers. Organ donations save the lives of patients of all ages and it has become very easy to sign up to be a donor. There are more than 100,000 people who are currently on waiting lists to receive an organ and just one donor can save multiple lives with their gift.
